چکیده

The various types of metamaterials only have a sound transmission loss (STL) peak at the resonant frequency but are still constrained by law mass insulation other frequencies. In this paper, low-frequency and wideband metamaterial plate with front radial membrane was designed in order to improve noise reduction band. Bandgap STL were calculated using finite element method. Studies shown that range 1 Hz–100 Hz for new metamaterials, band greater than 30 dB accounts 75%, starting is 11 Hz. mechanisms investigated comprehensive analysis mode shapes intensity streamlines then verified negative effective density equivalent mass–spring model. mechanism shows there wide bridge coupling bandgap between respective bandgaps membrane. This novel not guarantees acoustic performance also alleviates problem instability material after long-term use, providing potential application control.

A Planar, Layered Ultra-wideband Metamaterial Absorber for Microwave Frequencies

In this paper, an ultra-wideband metamaterial absorber is designed and simulated. The proposed absorber is planar and low profile. It is made of a copper sheet coated with two dielectric layers. Each unit cell of the metamaterial structure is composed of multiple metallic split rings, which are patterned on the top and middle boundaries of the dielectrics. The designed absorber utilizes differe...

Scaling of membrane-type locally resonant acoustic metamaterial arrays.

Metamaterials have emerged as promising solutions for manipulation of sound waves in a variety of applications. Locally resonant acoustic materials (LRAM) decrease sound transmission by 500% over acoustic mass law predictions at peak transmission loss (TL) frequencies with minimal added mass, making them appealing for weight-critical applications such as aerospace structures. In this study, pot...

Compact Coplanar Waveguide (cpw)-fed Tun- Able Wideband Resonant Antennas Using Metamaterial Transmission Line

A wideband resonant antenna loaded with coplanar waveguide (CPW) epsilon negative transmission metamaterial line (ENG MTL) unit cells is proposed. The CPW geometry provides high design freedom, and the metamaterial resonant antenna is designed on a CPW single layer where vias are not required. The novel ENG unit cell on a vialess single layer simplifies the fabrication process. The dispersion a...

A seismic metamaterial: The resonant metawedge

Critical concepts from three different fields, elasticity, plasmonics and metamaterials, are brought together to design a metasurface at the geophysical scale, the resonant metawedge, to control seismic Rayleigh waves. Made of spatially graded vertical subwavelength resonators on an elastic substrate, the metawedge can either mode convert incident surface Rayleigh waves into bulk elastic shear ...
